LED outdoor low voltage landscape lighting marine grade stainless steel light

This fixture is absolutely stunning. Right away when I removed it from the box I knew it was special. It is extra heavy duty, beautifully machined and fitted and made from polished marine grade stainless steel. In the 35 years I have been here I have never seen anything like it.

Originally it was made as a pond light for high end water features. The fact that the fixture was submersed in water, keeps it cool as the halogen MR16 that originally came with it ran very hot. We removed the halogen and put in a LED MR16 12volt bulb. As the LED is considerably lower in wattage, usually 4.5 watts to 7 watts, now the fixture can now be used as an above ground spot or well light. You do not have to worry about the heat as there is a substantial amount of thick stainless steel to dissipate heat. I ran my sample all day and night here where it is 80-degrees and it was only slightly warm to the touch.

The fixture has 30 feet of completely waterproof wire, as it was intended to be used underwater without a splice. It still can! It also has a bracket that can be removed so you can use the fixture as a well light or you can use the fixture as an above grade spot, as shown in the photos. A side note, the bracket may need to be anchored as the fixture is top heavy.

We include a 4.5 watt LED MR16 24-degree 12volt bulb to light up everything from fountains, pools, ponds, flag poles, palm trees, architectural elements and more in your outdoor lighting plan. The LED light bulb is installed in the fixture so if it should fail or if you want to upgrade it you can easily swap it out with one that meets your requirements (we can not substitute bulbs however, it is pre-packed with a 4.5watt unit)

INSTALLATION NOTE, READ THIS: The new LED bulbs are heavier than the halogen bulbs they have replaced. For this reason, great care should be taken when installing the LED bulb. In some cases, but not all, it will be way to loose in the socket. We recommend that you take a needle nose pliers and slightly, very slightly, bend the pins on the bulb to the outside so it holds tighter in the socket better. This is a problem with any fixture where the bulb is held by the socket only. Do not turn the fixture upside down after you close it up. Handle with care when you install in your yard and everything will work fine.

And always consider a spare light fixture just incase someone runs the lawnmower in to one that you have already installed.
