This is a durable heavy cast aluminum powder-coated fixture made to last. The fixture includes a heavy-duty spike made of high-impact plastic, larger than any spike you will find at the home improvement stores, that will never rust or corrode. The factory puts in a halogen bulb but we have added a LED bulb for you to replace, making your fixture energy efficient that'll last long into the future. Flood light comes complete with a heavy glass lens, an ultra-strong gasket to keep out the elements, and lead wires that work great with our included moisture-resistant blue connectors and #16 gauge wire which is not included.

Use the fixture to light low bushes, walls, plants like low-growing bamboo or anywhere you want a soft light to add an accent. The fixture makes a light pattern of about 4ft. high by 6ft. wide from a distance of 4 feet. Of course, it will appear brighter and with less spread if you put it closer to the subject. Not sure where to place it? Wire one up on a temporary connection and move it around at night before you settle where you want to place it, then make up your permanent connection. Once you're done simply hide the lead and feed wires under the ground cover. Do not dig a trench and bury low-voltage landscape wire unless you are crossing a lawn.
