I bought a long spool of bulb sockets to create custom length strings of XMAS lights. I added both male and female plugs to make my custom length XMAS light strings. The plugs are easy to install quickly. A screwdriver holds the wire in place while the cover is slid on making a secure connection. (Posted on 10/17/2020)
