The kit was much easier to install than I expected, only took a couple of hours (burying the cable was the hardest part for me).
I made the mistake of not threading the wire through the stake before connecting the light to the main wire (so make sure you thread the wire through the stake BEFORE you connect the spotlight lead wire to the main wire).
I followed the video on how to connect the lights to the main line with the 'Blue Connectors' and that was super easy (even when I had to take it apart and do it again (see comment above)).
I also took their advice on making a 'pilot hole' for the stake and that made driving the stakes into the ground easy.
My biggest concern was connecting the wires correctly (i.e. from the spotlight lead to the main lead to the transformer). Apparently, though, you can't do this wrong, just make sure both wires of the main lead are connected to the spotlight lead and the transformer Comm (common) terminal and the 12v terminal, and it will work. I even got fancy and went in two directions from the transformer terminals by twisting the wires together and it worked great.
Also, another concern was what to do at the end of the lead wire (after the last spotlight). I don't know that it matters but I opted to wrap mine in shrink-wrap and tape it off.
The transformer timer took some experimenting to figure out (the switches on the time dial are confusing at first) [recommend creating a video that explains this]. The switch pushed in toward the center of the dial indicates when you want the lights on; pushed out to the perimeter of the dial indicates when you want the lights off.
I will buy from TOL again and would recommend to a friend. (Posted on 10/5/2018)
